I'm sorry dad

by Valiantpenguin   Nov 10, 2007

I'm sorry dad
That I'm not the perfect child
That i don't listen to everything you say
I don't hang on your every word

I'm sorry dad
That I won't give up my grandma
Who was there for me when you weren't
Who loved me when you didn't

I'm sorry dad
That I don't have perfect grades
That I'm not an anorexic twig
Perfection isn't my dream

I'm sorry dad
What I do just isn't enough
I am just not enough
Nothing I do will ever be enough
