A Sonnet to the Night

by michael   Nov 10, 2007

Oh come again you gentle darkness
Come, the only quite time in my life
The only time to share with my wife
So quite and enchanting is darkness
Never fear of the night it is harmless
Only cowards during the night fear for their life
But I enjoy it especially with my nice wife
Because the darkness cover all the nakedness.

The only time when peace can be observed by all
The only time when all the clowns retire
But not me, I enjoy it until all in my home expire
Yeah I enjoy it until even the brave down they fall
I want to just sleep just like you all,
But this quite peacefulness sooth all my desire.
