Suppose To Do?

by Chris   Nov 11, 2007

What am I suppose to do
Now that you have won
This game that
I allowed you to play

What am I suppose to do
Now that you have taken my heart
Ripped it in two
And thrown it at my feet

What am I suppose to do
Now that I have taken
Your clever, little, white lies
That I allowed you to tell me

What am I suppose to do
Now that you have left me
With nothing but the shell
Of who I used to be

What am I suppose to do
Now that I'll never see you again
No matter how much
I wish it wasn't true

This is my favorite stanza... not only because it is deep but because it hits certain heart strings too roughly when they are still so sore....
    Great job
