Life Bleeds

by Bill Turner   Nov 11, 2007

Surrendering, offering, giving of my dark arts
Knowing that my blood stained hands grow idle
Blackness needs black to grow, to survive
Memories of blood between my fingers
Filling the cracks of my skin, it lingers

Chill wind crying out for redemption
Smothering the scream of my empty soul
Carrying sounds of sin blowing through eternity
Swirling around me like a hurricane
Dismembered thoughts in my brain

Swallowed whole, choking my life
Hanging in my throat, life's bile
Burning, eyes tearing with the hurt
Darkness, always darkness ripping away
Icy claws shredding, each and every day

Spitting a life time of hurt upon the walk
Watching it smolder, burn, turn black
Knowing that it will come yet again
Retching the evil of my sinful deeds
Oh how my life sometimes bleeds

    Bill,
We all do sinfull deeds, thats just human!
You made an amazing poem about it, most people just hide the badness they have within themselves. I takes a strong man to admitt to his faults and weaknesses. Over time this will only make you stronger and a better person.

    Take care,
