The cycle of a plant

by damont   Nov 11, 2007

First the old and withered must die

leaving there seed behind

the ground gives it shelter and heat

the sky gives it water that makes it heart beat

later it leaves the protection of the ground

but its main resource was still bound

found the courage to stand on its own

growing taller to show its grown

it opens when fully blown

now able to absorb the heat

it begs the earth to take care of its weak

the ground gave it its word now it can die in peace

only to bloom again even if only for a season atlest.

then the cycle must repeat

if the ground keeps the dying promise for the new born seed
