The walls

by Four Letter Lie   Nov 12, 2007

The walls have ears,
They know peoples fears.
They listen all day,
But have nothing to say.

The walls make noise,
Move your toys.
Are in all our dreams,
but remain unseen.

The walls are so unnoticed,
So alone and hopeless.
But they are what save your life,
Keep you safe in the depth of night.

The walls see all,
They watch dreams fall.
They see people cry,
They are watching at the dead of night.

They know how to fight back,
They can make your dreams crack.
But they don't work that way,
They watch your words and hear what you say.
