Home Hasn't Changed

Home Hasn't Changed

I walked there today.

To remind myself that home is where the heart is.

And with that my home belongs to another.

The drive is still kept to this day as I remember.

The trees still haven't grown leaves since the last time I was there.

A year now.

Looking back from the door now,

I grow cold and damp,

rain falls from the sky with no stars.

And then they appear.

Holding each other as if the world was to end with their love.

One crying,

one singing.

And then suddenly two kissing.

For the last time I am afraid.

And before the end of this mirage played to me.

The door I stood at just a year prior open.

Hone hasn't changed.

Home is where the heart is.

She is my heart.

She is my home.
