Destroyed.

I dont understand this world anymore,
Weve destroyed all evidence of life;
replaced it with failure and despair.

The wind no longer whispers its promising hymns;
Replaced with broken lines and dramatic screams.

The rain that used to sound so soothing;
Its now trying to break down the door.

The streets we used to walk on;
Were replaced with dead end signs.

Old friends we said wed never forget;
Disappeared into dust within a moment.
