Finally he's home

My heart beats fast
my mind races
everything is blurry
as i look through all the faces

my eyes get more clear
and a figure appears
he gets closer
and i break into tears

it's him, i know
he's back at last
i've waited so long
watching the years pass

i run up to hold him
as tight as can be
he squeesez me back
and my heart is set free
