THE GIRL WHO IS ME

by Tracey777taintedslitta   Nov 12, 2007

Sitting in a cold dark corner
innocence has died
no one will stop to save her
blooded tears she has cried

Everything made to be broken
her whole life dwelling in hell
her incubus breaking her in
there is no one she can tell

She bleeds to know she is real
in the spotlight losing her mind
the violent pain will not heal
abandoned with nothing to find

she is alone, cold to the bone
stalked by her forsaken past
but she braves to pick up the phone
the line is dead, just a shadow is cast

trying to find her way home
lost in putrid rotting fury
haunted by nothingness, she's left to roam
carves her coffin, digging to bury

shattered like a dream
torn like a scar
things are worse than what they seem
she is gone now... this time she has gone to far

    Innocence has died....
It's the most difficult time in our life, the moment when we lose our innocence...
Be gratefull, Tracey you have this marvellous gift, you can write and thus share your grieve and have people comfort you. This is your way of reaching out to the world.

    5/5 always,

    Ingrid
