Smile for me brown eyed girl

Never doubt who you are. Have fun like you should but never get caught in this world. Follow your own rhythm.

Each step should be shadowed by another. Remember no one can tell you who you are.

You are a creation of who you want to be, a masterpiece in the making.

Nothing like the Moaning Lisa, for she calls out for freedom because she is trapped in her own image.
But be as the angels soaring above the ground in the Sistine Chapel, be above the clouds, with others under your feet.

Cry not brown eyed girl

Scream and your pain shall be felt

Stumble and we shall also fall

Show your tears and we shall drown in you hurt

See what we see. The image of you in the water, ever flowing, always changing to become greater, stronger, never the same shape as the sun in the sky, but ever changing as the moon.

Defy the laws of this earth that keep you down and fly high as the dove whose beauty is forever.

Let me start by saying I have no idea which category this story fits in. I looked through all of them and didn't find one that would say what this poem was about. To be honest I don't truley know myself yet, when I wrote it it was just a free write. What happend was I was just scribbling words on a paper and there was this girl in front of me, she had, i believe it was hazel blue eyes, but at the time i didn't know what her eyes were and she was crying. Till this day I still don't know why sher was crying, but at that moment I just began to write.
