A man that changed our worlds

by Dylan   Nov 13, 2007

This world filled with hurt and chaos, a more amazing man god could not have found.

A man that knew the world but was not world renowned.

Not famous, not rich, but rich at heart.

A man that stood threw everything and not even cancer could tear him apart.

The man known to me as grandpa, or I should say a hero.

A man that fought till his life expectancy hit zero.

A man that will not be forgotten, as his memory will forever live on.

The hero that will live on in the hearts of us all, till the day that we see the everlasting dawn.

Your fragile wings could not have held you any longer but you did not give in without a fight.

Two solid years of fighting threw day and night.

Now you are exhausted and its time to sleep.

So put your head down close your eyes and do not weep.

We all love you more then the world could show.

It was just time for god to say to you its time to let go.

Your fragile wings will forever live on and could never be replaced.

Those wings that held your heart so delicate and pure threw the troubles that you faced.

Your wings, now there healed, white, and free to roam these beautiful sky's.

A piece of this once bright life slowly fades and dies.

It is hard to watch your grandparents slowly fade away when they are so important to you. My grandmother is fighting cancer at the moment I love her verry much.
