He said my name today and the sound was so sweet,
It felt like I was getting my own special treat.
My heart filled with joy,
At the sound from that boy,
The one who was my friend,
Then ignored me and caused the friendship to end.

His smile and his warm hello were wonderful to my ears,

But today that all went away,
