Which Came First? Music Or The Misery

by Beautiful Chaos   Nov 13, 2007

Who turned the radio on?
My heart breaking to a melody,
Nimble fingers,
Strumming tears.

Was there always a song,
Or is this where music came from?
Heart ripping,
Euphoric,
Love.

We all know,
We've all felt,
We've all heard,
Such prophetic compositions.

A song for every feeling,
But to be remembered,
For that you must evoke passion,
Brilliant memories.

Life is our rhythm of creation,
All things grow,
And experience molds them,
Music is an outlet.

Sweet release,
Disconnect,
Or reconnect,
A jack of all trades.

I don't know if I hurt more,
But those words gave me comfort,
To know someone felt my pain,
And understood.

Anguish was my mistress,
But music,
Oh sweet music,
She was my savior.

Goodness! You have a flair in expressing emotions. This poem somehow leaves a deep impression on me and I find it amazing that you can extract such a tormenting emotion and expressed it beautifully in the poem...

    A really beautiful write... 5/5! (:
