Interest in life

by Meluat   Nov 13, 2007

Let me tell you little bit of my story
When i see you it always brings up my memory
But all of these memories can be considered misery
And i cant get rid of them because they're my history

To tell you why is because you rejected me
Maybe because you're in love with whoever is he
Or maybe you think I'm not serious but procrastinate
to know my real love darling, come I'll demonstrate

Enough of that and lets talk about the bright side
Maybe it will open our mentality or view little bit wide

Conversating with you really pleases my mind
It really helps me put all my problems behind
Life essentials and important goals we talk about
Give me 100% of confident toward you with no doubt

Thy presence is the need of my life
My longing is for you to be my wife
Thy voice is the melody of my ears
It helps me overcome some of my fears

Enough of that and lets talk about the interests
Maybe it will reveal some of what we've invests

One thing i learned about you is that you're so attentive
It made me realize that that's what makes you so attractive
Sometimes even though my story is boring to you
You still take a courage and listen 'til I'm thru

My interest in life is to find a person who can read me
A person who can understand what i wanted to be
A person who knows how to calm me down when I'm mad
A person who knows how to cheer me up when I'm sad

But those are just a general view of my interest
So before this poem is over, you'll know what i like the best

Running a thousand miles, swimming across pacific don't mean anything
But spending only less than five minutes with you does mean something
I pretend that I'm not paying attention to you when you're around
But the truth is that i always think about you even when you're no t on my ground

My longing for you and my interest toward you ain't just a myth
You are the one that I've been praying for and the one that i want to be with
No matter how, no matter what, it is you i like the best
Without you in my simple life, my heart will not rest
