Red, Red Wine

by Allison   Nov 13, 2007

Natural sugar, tastes so sweet
Set upon my rosy lips
Blurring the edges of my thoughts
Red, red wine

Crystal glass with lipstick stains
Smooth delight, pure ecstasy
Seeing you with time well bought
Red, red wine

Love filled whispers, tingling flesh
Sighing minds, fantasies met
Images carved in gleaming stone
Red, red wine

Fingers laced, bodies near
Happiness we've longed to share
We will never be alone
Red, red wine

Someone pass that wine - grapes waiting to traverse our lips should not be teased with time. release the sun you have gathered over this last year ,and make all our words spoken from these poets hearts something we all need to hear. That felt good... peace and may all your writes age as well as the wine.

    Quite an interesting poem.

I really loved the ending to this.

The red, red wine part kind of threw me off >.<
I think it would work better if you just put that at the end.. but thats just an opinion.
    still 5/5 :D
