Loneliness

I'm starting to feel so lonely,
Like no one knows I'm there,
I just want someone to love me,
I want someone to care.

I need someone to hold me,
When the tears run down my cheeks,
I need someone to talk to,
During those stressful weeks.

I want someone to hug,
To kiss when the feelings right,
I want someone who knows,
When to hold me tight.

I want someone to look at me,
With that special look in their eye,
That tells me that they love,
That says they'd never lie.

I want those arms around me,
That make me feel safe and secure,
I'm beginning to feel so lonely,
And that's the only cure.
