In The Theater Room

by Falling Again   Nov 13, 2007

In a dark room i stood still, my hair falling around my face, shoulders slumped, tears softly falling to the floor.

You stood away to the right, from me, in the dark, you walked to me, and stopped in front of me.

"Everything will be fine." You whispered softly as you ran your hand through my hair, pushing it back. And as you did, you leaned over and gently kissed my cheek.

The bell rang, i still stood starring at the floor, crying silently. Your eyes still on me.

You walked towards the door, towards the lighted hallway, your new love, away from us.

And as you did, i whispered so softly you couldn't hear me.

"Please don't go."

You opened the door, flooding the room with light, and left me all alone.

"Please don't go." I whispered softly as i slid down the wall, eyes closed, tears still falling silently.

"Please don't go."
