Looking on the world I've shut out for so long
I can't help but think that all along it was so wrong
If help could be found I would have embraced it
But hate was all around so the tears were definite
Its so easy to get lost in the moment
To be lost in yourself, to be incoherent
Is it normal to lie awake at night
With nothing to do but wonder if it's right.
If god was ever good to me
Maybe someday, somehow, I'd believe.
But right now there's no hope in this life
All it ever does is cause me strife
So maybe its time it came to an end
I think I might just need a friend...
