Sea Of Sorrow (Sonnet II)

Sea Of Sorrow (Sonnet II)

My heart tis lost in a sea of sorrow,
Gone forever and I wish it goodbye,
Eternal pains my view of tomorrow,
The curtains pulled back to show all the lies,

The lies I tell my heart, say I'm okay,
Say I don't need you here, wish it was true,
But these lies tear me apart day by day,
And in the end I just cant forget you.

I see your face at night, under the stars,
It lightens my heart as bright as the moon,
I sit and write poems, playing my guitar,
While I'm listening to the sweet sad tune.

In a sea of sorrow my soul will be,
Trapped alone here for all eternity.
