Black Hole

by Faye Byrem   Nov 14, 2007

Daddy has a black hole
Where his heart used to be

The devil savagely ripped it out
Away from daddy, away from me

The hole is haunted with demons
Of torment and despair

When the devil took my daddy's heart
He left the demons there

"Go forth and multiply", he said.
"Cause untold torment and pain

Make it impossilble for love to live
In this heart ever again".

Somehow I thought my love
Would gently find it's way through

But my love got lost in the darkness
Among the rubble where black wings flew.
