A moment

If ever there was a moment, a moment just for me,
I'd ride on a cloud of hope, finding you and looking thru kaleidoscope only to see,
That things are not they way they were meant to be,
Especially when it comes to love that connects you to me,
Finding things in a different state of mind,
Looking in you're gentle and soothing eyes, only to see empty cold stares leaving me to find, another thing for me to hate, another thing not meant by fate.
