Matters Of The Heart

by Ashley   Nov 14, 2007

My heart is my downfall
The epitomy of my problems
I allow it to take over me
And control what I do
When I fall in love
I fall HARD.
I become completely subject to that one person's wishes
They become my basis for living
And my heart makes me helpless
Starved for love and affection
I need them
Until we go our separate ways
He moves on,
But my feelings wont let me forget
So then my heart takes over and leaves me
Cold.
With this empty feeling in my chest
Like all of my love was given in vain
And stolen from me
I hate this feeling I get
Like my life would end if I cant have you...
These are matters of the heart.

I like how you expressed it.
