Time passes slowly

Everyday is a little easier
When I don't see your face
But when you call, and I hear your voice
My heart begins to race

We've been over for a while
And you have someone knew
But I can't stand picking up the phone
And finding out it's you

These little head games destroy me
You used to be my world
But now there's this stranger by your side
Who calls herself your girl

We have a daughter on the way
I gave you a year and a half of my life
You swore you'd never leave my side
And that I would be your wife

But the days are getting easier
So, please just stay away
I can't stand to know you're still around
I don't want to see your face

My hearts been broke in half
My life's been torn in two
Everything was a lie
Every single thing about you

Hey there girl. Nice poem here. Truly meaningful. I'm sorry you had to go through so much pain. I thank you for sharing this poem...I can very much relate to this (except the daughter part). This poem means a lot and I thank you.
Just keep your head high and remain strong. You deserve so much better.
    Take care always,
    Kristina
