I think I love you

by A Victim of Fate   Nov 14, 2007

At first I didn't understand
What this feeling was
I didn't think I needed a hand
But you were there to lift me up

Life since I met you has turned tipsy turvy
My once straight road now slanted and curvy

You helped me think when no one else would
Even with my stubborn pride
You touched me in a place no one else could
The place where I hide deep inside

You and only you opened the door
That has never been opened before

My feelings once locked away
Now roam completely free
I listen now to every word people have to say
Not like the old abandoned me

I never really thought anyone could love this catastrophe
But now I know you love me for me

The wounds that never seemed to heal
I whisper no I think the words "I love you"
You came along and made things seem real
I could swear you said "I love you too"
