Apathy

I feel so sad and dead inside,
Like a gold leaf falling on the ground,
I feel so weak and faithless,
Like a disease newly found.

The power in my body has completely vanished,
I have no will to go on,
The power inside has long ago faded,
I have no will since it's all gone.

My heart is slowly bleeding away,
And my tears are turning black,
My heart longs for happiness,
And my tears may never go back.

Just a dream fading in my memory,
Just something caged and never free,
Just a dream of you and I,
Just something never meant to be.
