My heart's desire

by michael   Nov 15, 2007

My heart's desire is to walk through fire.
Her father is honoured above all
All the rich for her always fall,
Then how can my wax feet walk on fire

Oh, my heart's desire is higher
My love is praised by all in this zone
Then how can a poor man like me bring her home
She is rich and I am no lier.

If only you could understand what I am saying
Because she posses beauty and charm
Yet I can not even brush her arm
My heart with resignation is decaying.

She is filthy rich
Her father is so powerful,
But above all she is beautiful
Yet her soul I can not reach.

My heart"s desire is higher
But she will never know of me
She will not even notice me.
Yet my heart's desire is to walk through fire.
