Drift Away

The words you said straight to my face.
The warmth of blood, a sweet embrace.
Your lies untold are left unsaid.
I just might as well be dead.
The rain comes down like falling pins.
To you, i committed the sweetest sin.
The love we shared and times we lost.
You broke my heart, now pay the cost.
Now its just me and the blade.
Just one cut, my price is paid.
But i cant die because of you.
I'd just make your wish come true.
So ill grow and find a man.
Together we will make our plans.
Five years pass and ill see you.
Then ill know if our love was true.
The night we meet, the rain pours down.
Standing outside, No lights, no sounds.
You grab my hand, but no one knows.
I back away, my fear, it shows.
I loved you once, but my love died.
"See that man, I'm his bride.
Five years ago, you were so vain.
Now finally, you feel my pain.
I loved you then, but not today.
My love for you has drift away."
