Closure

by Rayne   Nov 16, 2007

Six months to the day
And she has yet to forget his face
She holds her breath for one last taste
She cries, she cries
Inside shes dying

No one knew what to do
They all watch as she fell through
The shattered glass that hit the ground
She cut, she cut
Shes all mess up

She doesn't know where to begin
To get him from underneath her skin
He stole her soul, he smashed her heart
Her world, her world,
Has fallen apart

Broken pieces that cant be replaced
In a world were no one remembers her face
Her haunting secret she wont even speak his name
She runs, she runs
Her hand on the gun

Maybe its his blood running through her veins
That slits her tongue, and leaves her anger uncontained
Nail marks and eyes turning black
She collapsed, collapsed
She cant forget the past

She takes a seat outside her head
And watches the nightmares swim in her bed
Where she just wants the memories to fade
She screams, she screams,
Shes not allowed to dream

The last night she held her breath
As the six months led her to her death
She closed her eyes as the bricks came down
Collide, collide
to the world she has lied
