Shattered

by Kenny   Nov 16, 2007

Shattered

Shattered nights of brilliant lights
Tainted with repentant memories ignites
the breeze of blizzard, conjuring disorder
that paralyzes entwined souls saying never

Shattered winter leaves, sights darkened
Entangled hands, passionate feelings amend
Actions of contrite, misguided thoughts
Entertain it never, battles together faught

Shattered cold bones, flesh still lingers
So long sweet summer, ending absence so bitter
Heightened by the tension, affection proposed
Elevates love, a covenant imposed

Eyes of thee shall never be shattered
Looking upon deep heart, moment can never be altered
Drifted in vivid soul, no words can utter
Promises never been shattered, living forever
