I think about you everyday
The way you make me laugh
The fact that you're so far away
Is hard but it won't last
Someday I'll get that note
That says "I'm coming home"
And to that place you will return
And never want to roam.
I feel so very close to you
So close it scares me so
Because I see the stories that make me wonder
If you've been taken down by a foe.
For now we are just friends
But I must confess that I want more
