Autumn Witch

by Silver Bells   Nov 16, 2007

Moon of Crimson shining bright
Tempting you to take a bite
Forest shadows whip around
Making not a single sound

Moon of Crescent hanging low
Mask of feather will not show
The hidden evil hidden deep
So full of all that one can weep

Moon of Whiteness hanging back
Contrasting with her hair of black
Tattered wings as red as blood
Darkness from her it does flood

Moon of Silver's pearly light
Hanging above such a height
Glowing past her; orb of mist
All around her, Darkness hissed

Arms of magic twining tight
A forest background in full flight
Enchantress deep in black and red
There are no words that can be said

Inhuman though this witch may be
Her powers are for all to see.
