A night to forget

by Alison   Nov 17, 2007

Daylight dies
under blackened skies
sorrow and regret
this will be
this will be a night to forget

you try to hide under a blanket of lies
oh, but a petty disguise

i tear my heart open at the seams
this will be a night to forget
but it will haunt you in your dreams

nostalgic memories
bring a sense of emptiness to your face

A sun lifts a darkened opaque sky
from its own misery

A night lived through havoc
full of regret
this is a night I will forget
