A new world....

*this is like the first poems I wrote that doesn't have a rhyme scheme so it might be hard to follow plus it's basically overload of emotion but yeah...*

Once full of innocence, honesty, and trust.
Destroyed by insanity and cruelty.
Realizing this world is harsh and unforgiving,
because of reckless and insensitive self-righteousness.
My tears shatter like shards of glass upon my bloody hands.
The once pure soul of childhood now soiled and distraught.
Never will the light of glory and reprieve be showed again, Nor shall it be set right.
The legacy and privilege of "freedom" flashes away in a blink..never to be seen, nor was it there to begin with.
My false belief in hope and faith in simple things are stripped and torn by greedy talons.
No mercy given, or offered, bringing chaos to a newly acquired high.
Spinning, swirling, out of control as the fires of Hell surround me and soothe me, for they are far better than to live a life without a true meaning and purpose, for they have also been desecrated with my conscience.
