Promises Of Tomorrow

by Cindy   Nov 17, 2007

How could I ever forget
The first time I heard your voice
Coming from so far away
Making my heart rejoice

How could I ever forget
The strength from your hands
Extending them in friendship
Helping me to finally stand

How could I ever forget
The lessons you have taught
Endless hours spent talking
My fallen tears you've caught

How could I ever forget
All your love you've given
As time marches forward
Our friendship only deepens

How could I ever forget
You protecting me from sorrow
Your the keeper of my heart
My promise of tomorrow.

Dedicated to my very dear friend End Of Eternity. I will never forget all you have done for me.
