Lighthouse

by Silver Bells   Nov 17, 2007

From walls of mighty China
To England's Earl Grey Tea
From Egypt's rolling deserts
My love shines out to sea

The lighthouse built of trust
Looks far beyond my reach
But every time I see you
I lose control of speech

Your face, like mine,
Was proud and free
You took my heart
An evil deed

For now you're gone
Beyond the sea
There's no one left
No one for me.
