My never ending novel

Its time for me to close this chapter
And time to open a new one
The longer I wait to do so
The harder it becomes

I have already left it to long
The pages have begun to stick
And the longer I allow it
The longer the glue will solidify

Each day that passes
The more effort it will take to break this habit
I need to be independent from you
Make some room for me

Or I will be stuck in time
Unable to move
Paralyzed in the very memories of the past
I must stop this and avoid that conclusion

Since time to heal has come and gone
I need now to catch up
I will exert my strength to its limit
To turn the page and escape this never ending novel
