Fading away, Then Lost

by ~* Joyful *~   May 11, 2004

Their meant to be your friends,
Some-one who's always there.
Some-one to have a laugh with,
Some-one to always care.

Trust, love and forgiveness,
Something you must always give.
It all seems so easy,
But what if you don't want to live.

What if you cant let go,
Of something pathetic and small.
I don't know why I'm hurt,
Just because they didn't call.

Hurt, Lonely and scared,
My mind rotting from this pain.
Confused from depression,
I put my head down in shame.

Emotionally exhausted,
Not knowing where to turn.
Watching my soul light on fire,
And letting it die from burns.

Sleep draining happiness,
And whats left inside of me.
My heart had a lock,
But evil found the key.

Only one thing left,
The beating of my heart.
Our friendship torn and broken,
Forgiveness placed us far apart.
