Knees to my chest
Eyes to my feet
I'm so (not) together
I can't feel my heartbeat

I feel your presence
Your eyes, they burn
"Please, go away"
You don't deny your concern

You walk closer
Sit beside me now
The fear builds up
And I just don't know how

You hold my hand
And I shun back
The same old story
Touch means attack...

You hug me softly
And the fear then goes, see
It's amazing what you
Can only expose in me
