What If

by Courtney Lynn   Nov 18, 2007

What if I were each droplet of rain

What if I lose more than I can ever regain

What if I fall back

And fall freely to the end

What if I never see you again

What if I were the moon in the sky

What if I don't get to say goodbye

What if I were to end your life

What if I were the sacrifice

What if the rain seized to fall

What if our pasts meant nothing at all

What if tears were never cried

What if young love always died

What if I were to be reborn

Could I do my life better

Or would I still live torn
