Shades of Blue

by someone unknown   Nov 18, 2007

You neglect the fact shades of blue are creeping up the wall
Like Humpty Dumpty, you prepare to fall
Hear the heaven's above begin to call

Lights flickering in the background
Running thoughts that can't be found
Walking up the isolated highway
You turn away as your skin starts to decay

Tracing along the edge with your graceful fingers
As in the air the smell of death lingers
Laying back with your head in the grass
Watching the clock as time doesn't pass

Change the lock and throw away the key,
It's time to leave and let this world be
Scream "don't come any closer" to those voices
shh shh hear the noises..

um lol I never know how to end a poem? >.<;
