A little girls pray to her mother

by Stephie   Nov 18, 2007

Her name is Emily she is six years old

Her dad is a drunk and her mom past away.
She's kept in her room every single day.
At night she sneaks out, hoping to not be caught.
She climbs out her window and down the railing,
She jumps off the box right down below her,
And disappears into the darkness right in front of her.
Walking down the road, hoping she doesn't get caught.
She climbs over a big huge rock over a fence and down a hill, till she reaches the end of her trail, in front of her stand a grave with writing, with a single tear she places a rose upon the grave where her mother lays. Emily whippers so no body hears. saying these heart aching words... " Oh mom i need your help. daddy's been beating me from the start, he hurts me and leaves me with scars on my body, saying that mommy hates me and doesn't love me. i pray to you mommy cause i need help, i don't want daddy to hurt me no more, i place this rose upon your grave in hopes one day you will see my pain" Amen...
She stands up slowly and starts to walk away, up the hill and climbs the fence, jumps over the rock and back home i go, in hopes tomorrow may be a happy day.
