Like a flower.

by Spoken Silence   Nov 18, 2007

For my love is like a flower that blooms in the spring.
That opens and shines its colors for all to see.
Showing it's joy by its sweet smell.

For this love is like a flower that changes in autumn.
Its bright colors turn to sadness and darkness.
With her smell fading away.

For love is like a flower that dies during winter.
Closing up its petals for no more to see.
With its sweet smell gone.

For our love is like a flower in the summer.
Blooming once more after a long season of sadness.
And its sweet smell returning with new hope for love.

For my love for you is like a flower. . .

    Awh.
I really love this poem, darling.
    It's so like love.
    The ups and downs.
    Amazing times, and bad.

You did a wonderful job with this.
Honestly, I thought it'd be all gushy.
    But, it's not.

    It's completely realistic.
    And, amazing. (:
