If wishes could come true

by Ingrid   Nov 18, 2007

Words of love so softly spoken
Loving hands caressing golden hair
Fruits of love so eagerly devoured,
the bittersweet taste of the bond we share

Gazing into the depth of your eyes
In awe of the beauty and sheer
captivating serenity of the face
of this man I hold so dear

Meetings after midnight
Hearts that skip a beat
when face to face and skin to skin
Enchanted by love's fire when we meet

Hazel colored eyes that haunt
my every dream both day and night
Always in my thoughts, my love
Images of holding you so tight

Pondering on a future shared
If wishes could come true
I would want us to be together
just me, your little girl and you

^^ i really loved how you worded that specifically it is very refreshing to read poetry with symbolism, imagery, personification and other literary elements in it used so fragily and perfectly

    very very good job : ) 5.5
