Secrets Of Life

by Katy Nicholson   Nov 18, 2007

When we are young, we don't understand the many troubles and pain that life holds ahead.

When we are young, we don't know that the colour of violence is also the colour of happiness; red.

But what we do know, is that as we get older, we will begin to understand the many cold shadows in life.

When we are finally older, some of us feel like we've been wearing a mask the whole time, unable to fight.

Now as I look back, I thought I knew who I really was this whole time. But now, I'm not so sure.

Who am I? Do people understand me? Or am I completely different, with no soul to be pure?

Most of these questions have answers that I will probably never know, even if I try to find them.

But as I search, I will just live life and be myself. What you see is what you get, I am because I can.
