Rainy Days

Rainy Days

She sees no brilliant sun rays nor blue sky along her horizon
But tiny droplets of rain falling across her antique window
Cold breeze glides along her pale cheek unconditioned
With no sounds of humming bird nor any stranger's shadow

An empty street with rusty craps of can and wet dust
A neighborhood filled with silence, no whispers to be heard
Droplets fall from heaven with a great velocity creating gusts
She cried with weary eyes down the floor; she preferred

It's been winter season and the heaviness of storm never ceased
Her tears is that of a cold bitter water falling down the floor
She remembered how a boy left her and broke her heart piece by piece
And her love thrown away as he walks out of her door

Her story was kept only by her and her sweet yet cold lover
As she lays down to her bed with moisture so he could forget
That day of December when she thought her lover left her forever
Shared their last kiss of goodbye underneath the rain, droplets joined her tears she couldn't get
