What The Scars Are For

by Silent Screams   Nov 19, 2007

Please Stop reminding me of what I've done
That Is What The Scars Are For, Hun
Even so, your words continue to cut deep
You tell me to Stop, Which is why I Weep
I understand that you care, but you take it too far
Which is Why I disappeared within that car
Never again will you see my face
Because all it holds is shame and disgrace
You are called Emo boy within our book
But being emo is more then a look.
If you hurt from reading this, I hope you know
That the pain I feel is more then you'll ever know
A scream over the phone and at lunch was all I needed
But I hope you know that I was defeated
A pain within my chest from the heart; single pang of hurt
Which is why I feel like I'm just dirt.
Please Stop reminding me of what I've done
That Is What The Scars Are For, Hun
