Memories of what used to be,
Memories of the past that still haunts me,
For some reason,
I can't let these memories go,
Each season passes,
And I still don't know,
I have no memories of when I was glad,
No memories of laughter,
I only have memories of when I was sad,
Happy memories are what I'm after,
I want a memory where I smile,
When I laugh,
A memory that is worth while,
A memory when I'm not cut in half,
A sweet memory,
Not memories of what used to be.
