Crystal Tears

by killcupidxoxo   Nov 19, 2007

An invisible crystal tear
The pain she refused to cry
Cruel words left unsaid
Broken hearts hung out dry

Cynical expression bearing her scars
Hard cold eyes, the closed windows to her soul
Horrors trapped inside her heart, the pains she left untold
Stories burning like a fire within her bones, the past takes its toll

Barbed wire wrapped around her bleeding lips
An evil glare masks the torment within her eyes
The emptiness of a broken promise
Reaching for a fallen prize

Hiding in amongst the shadows
Drowned in deceit and evil lies
In rags that cover her skeletal frame
Two invisible crystal tears running downwards from her eyes
