i'm shocked everyday that we're still best friends.
but then i remember, there's nothing between us we can't mend.
from secrets gone wrong, the longest time we didn't speak.
to the girl that tore us apart, almost socked her in her " beak ".
to the never ending fighting that we always seem to have.
to the " let's just be friends again ", man oh man.
you're the only person i'd ever let hurt me this bad.
and continue to talk to you, regardless of all the stuff that got me mad.
you're the only person i'll take back in my life after all we've been through,
maybe it's because i really do love you.
if ever we fight like we ever did, i just want you to know.
best friends we'll always be, because in each other we help ourselves to grow.
